Destination Cape Breton is charting a path to become a sustainable tourism industry and destination as a whole. We have partnered with Destination Think to facilitate engagement and develop a Sustainability Plan. The process places partner and community engagement at its core.

At its core, our plan will focus on three key goals: preserving and celebrating our cultural heritage, protecting our natural environment, and supporting a strong, resilient tourism workforce.

We invite you to join a 90-minute, collaborative session in Chéticamp on December 9 at 2pm. Facilitated by Destination Think’s team, this session will be informal and conversational, with no preparation required. Your insights will help us understand your sustainability priorities and the unique character of Cape Breton from a local perspective.
